Mera is a great companion for vocabulary learning. It offers a good mix of exercises, and mistakes back helps to focus on words that do not cooperate.

The app is well structured, so it's easy to follow and build up your skills step by step. I've found it to be a great companion for practicing regularly and staying consistent. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone learning Hindi!

Great for getting into the language topic and immediately starting to speak without too much linguistic and theoretical baggage.

What makes Mera different

Built for the way you learn.

01

Your vocabulary, not ours

Add words from your lessons, import a CSV, or start with the curated starter set. Mera works around your learning, not the other way around.

02

Exercises that stay fresh

Flashcards, multiple choice, and a Daily Mix that assembles a session from your own words. New exercise types are added over time, and your vocabulary works in all of them automatically.

03

Choose your script

Roman script by default, so you can focus on the words, not the writing system. Devanagari is planned as an opt-in for when you are ready.

See it in action

Why Mera exists

Built while learning. Used every day.

I started learning Hindi because I wanted to talk to my partner's family and friends. Conversation mattered most to me. Devanagari could come later. I also wanted a fun way to practise the exact words from my lessons and remember them properly. I couldn't find an app that offered both.
So I built Mera.
